Kathleen Roseborough is an of counsel attorney, combining her experience, legal and negotiating skills with her genuine empathy for her clients in family law matters. Often, her clients’ marital estates consist of significant assets, including interests in closely held corporations, limited partnerships, residential and commercial real estate, diversified investment accounts and retirement benefits. These asset types can present complex classification and valuation issues.
Kathleen’s clients include business people, attorneys, physicians, sports celebrities, entrepreneurs or their spouses. When there are parenting issues, she skillfully maintains the focus on the best interests of the children. Kathleen successfully interacts with professional experts for the children’s benefit.
Kathleen is a trained and talented mediator. She believes that the mediation process is appropriate as an alternative to litigation in many cases. In all of her cases, she successfully negotiates for her clients an agreement in accord with the desires and expectations of her clients. However, when a case must be litigated, Kathleen is an aggressive advocate for her client, and works hard with her team of professionals to ensure a forceful and persuasive presentation to the court, gaining a consistent record of successful results at trial for her clients.
