Joy M. Feinberg
Joy M. Feinberg is a fierce and focused advocate for individuals of wealth who are contemplating, or are in the midst of divorce. Throughout her career, Joy has lent her professional expertise to lead and consult with highly reputable organizations and institutions.
Joy recognizes the struggle individuals experience prior to beginning the divorce process. Forming a close bond with her clients to understand and empower them is how she develops a winning strategy to achieve their divorce goals.
For four decades, Joy has honed her knowledge and professional skill-sets to understand and explain tax-driven financial solutions; executive compensation and perquisites and creative parenting plans, among the many other aspects of divorce for wealthy individuals. If settlement attempts fail, Joy relies on her trial prowess — a signature of her professional acumen. As an expert witness and sought-after speaker and writer, Joy utilizes her deep understanding to clarify complex topics such as taxation, business valuation, pensions, and executive compensation.
In the legal community, she is most proud of developing Women Empowering Women (WEW), a program to train female divorce lawyers on the vast array of financial knowledge required of sophisticated divorce practitioners.
Joy and her husband, Greg, enjoy traveling the world, collecting art and devoting attention to the most beloved cats in Chicago.
